UPdates
We’re proud to announce the launch of the Plus Eight Syndicate, a new investment initiative designed to give sophisticated investors access to some of Western Australia’s most promising early-stage startups. Built on years of founder support and ecosystem development, this syndicate represents the next step in our mission to close the funding gap at the pre-seed and seed stage.
We were first introduced to the founders of Omni Biotech, Will Poot and Zac Farrow, following their completion of the Curtin Accelerate program in 2021. They were tackling the problem of dehydration, an issue they considered to be one of the biggest occupational health and safety risks in many workplaces.

Developed in partnership with Curtin University the Curtin Angel Syndicate is designed to help founders in their Entrepreneur pipeline access capital from angel investors drawn from the Curtin community, and for prospective investors to gain an education around the process of angel investing.
